Samburu Simba lodge is located 300 km north of Nairobi, in Buffalo Springs Game Reserve, overlooking the  Uaso Nyiro River. From your room you have a fantastic view over the stunning plains, where elephants are grazing. Reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa orynx and long-necked gerunuk can be seen nearby. 

The Samburu Simba Lodge has 18 cottages and over 70 rooms. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. They are equipped with a ceiling fan, telephone, safety deposit box, reading desk and several lounge chairs. Mosquito nets & hairdryers are available upon request. The bathrooms have a shower with warm and cold water. There is also a large terrace that faces the river valley below, where you are able to see a variety of wildlife. 

You can spend your free time cooling off in the swimming pool or watching wildlife at a watering hole from the lounge. Enjoy a traditional meal in the lodge’s restaurant followed by an evening of entertainment provided by Samburu traditional dancers. You may also want to relax at the lounge with a Tusker beer, or conversation with friends.
